LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT ON: DEREK REYNOLDS

Derek-Reynolds-Spotlight.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in NYC, New York. I am currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy amusement parks, playing cards, going to the gym, spending time with family, and I used to be a professional bowler.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I used to be a little bit of a wallflower and was not too sure about my abilities as a leader. After joining PlanNet Marketing, I knew I was born to lead. My confidence and posture has soared through the roof and my customer service skills are vastly greater than when I was in corporate America.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Wanting to be the best. I want to be a member of the 60/60 Club.I want to be a leader that my team can be proud of, as well as be able to say that I pushed them to their limits and beyond and they themselves broke through their own confidence barriers.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Alfred Ingram - his compassion for people is without bounds. He is always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it and his work ethic is one I am trying to emulate.

Natalie Graham - her hard work in such a short amount of time encourages me to know that I have a lot of work to do in my organization. Her kindness shows that just because you have a certain status and wealth does not stop you from being real and genuine, especially to people she doesn't know. Through their examples, I try to help as many people as possible and enjoy seeing others succeed.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Loyal, Compassionate, Mentor

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Stop being afraid of what could go wrong, and start being excited of what could go right!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
To be a Five-Star Director in PlanNet Marketing. I want to be in a position to open up a real homeless shelter, where we will have doctors on staff to help clean up our residents, then have teachers on staff to help those achieve their GED, high school diploma, or some type of trade certification. I want to have some employers on board to help employ the individuals who pass the program and then have a housing program for those who have completed at least 90 days of continuous work.

I want to really help those who are less fortunate. That is why I really love this opportunity; it has allowed me to dream harder and to realize that I can turn those dreams into REALITY!!

MEET NEW ONE-STAR DIRECTOR ROSALIND GARRARD!

Garrard_onestar_mini.jpg

Welcome Rosalind Garrard, one of PlanNet Marketing’s newest One-Star Directors! Rosalind tells us that she lives in a little village called Beeston in Norfolk, UK. It's beautiful, very rural, and quiet. It is around two and half hours from London and only 30 minutes from the beautiful City of Norwich.

Rosalind says, “I obviously love traveling with my family and we are slightly addicted to Disney World and have been blessed to have been able to go a few times in Florida and also in Paris, France. I also am a volunteer for an amazing charity called SWAN (Syndromes Without a Name), as my youngest child has an undiagnosed genetic disorder which has left her severely disabled.

“We travel every year as a family across Europe from the Greek Islands through to mainland Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Germany, Poland, Menorca, (my goal is to visit every country) and we have been to Florida a few times. We also go to the International Christmas Markets which is so much fun to try new foods and buy unique presents. My kids love to travel which makes it all a little easier!”

When asked how she achieved success, she relates, “My success is not mine. I am blessed to have an amazing team who are in this with me and growing as well. With this business you already have the tools to grow your business, so use them. Like our getting started training, watch and re-watch the business presentation – this helps you talk about the business. Get people in front of the Directors of our industry. Let them talk for you. Don’t try and reinvent the wheel. My BIGGEST tip I can ever give you is always work on yourself. You are your biggest asset in this business, so ensure you’re in tip-top form. I have learned this last year that my mindset needed adjusting and my health needed my attention. Also make sure you are willing to grow in your trade.Be willing to be coachable and approachable. DO everything with a smile.

“I share this amazing business with everyone. It's okay if they say ‘No’ because at the end of the day, if they don’t join me, they can book travel through me!! I encourage everyone who joins me to get three, repeat and teach. My leaders are amazing and growing their own empires as well. We have fun along the way.

“A fun fact about me: I am currently learning British Sign Language and loving it. I am going to add another way to communicate, including with my daughter.”

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER STEPHANIE CLOUTIER!

2020club2_cloutier.jpg

PlanNet Marketing welcomes Stephanie Cloutier to the 20/20 Club! Stephanie is originally from Waltham, MA, but has lived in Windham, Maine since 2003. She has a passion for travel and the outdoors and loves camping, boating, cooking and vacationing in the Caribbean islands. She says, “I have always enjoyed researching vacations and reviews of all inclusive resorts in warm tropical places. I have kind of always been the "go to" person when my family wants to know where to book their next cruise or all inclusive vacation. My husband and I are obsessed with the Caribbean. We have been everywhere from St.Thomas to Belize to Cozumel to the Dominican Republic. Jamaica is our favorite! We have been to the island five times with many more visits to come. It wasn't a surprise to anyone that I specialized in Jamaica travel first! Negril is hands down our "One Love." We were married in Ocho Rios in 2014 right before my husband, Master Sergeant Jason Bowen, was deployed to Afghanistan. Fortunately, he returned home six months later and we then booked another trip to Jamaica!

“I have been with PlanNet Marketing since February 2018. I attribute my success to always having had a desire to be an entrepreneur, mixed with the perfect opportunity. I had been in network marketing for just over two years, dabbling in other companies, before I found PlanNet Marketing and the travel agent opportunity. I could not believe it! It was like a dream come true! I immediately stopped promoting the other product I was selling and starting spreading the word to all my friends and family on Facebook about this incredible opportunity! I went LIVE on Facebook almost immediately!

“I believe my success comes from the passion and the excitement that I have for this business that shows in my social media news feed. I'm super consistent with giving value to my Facebook page as I spread the word of travel and opportunity on my wall and in social media groups. In June, I offered a private training for other agents on Facebook for a 30-day blitz (intense business push). I had almost 150 travel agents follow my June training as they began to implement some of the social media marketing strategies I had learned over the past two years. Others found it helpful as I taught a few really important tips for being successful - be consistent - you can't grow a successful business if you’re ALWAYS starting and stopping. Always be adding and talking to new people! This is network marketing! You need to always be growing your network. Be authentic and genuine and engage with others; don't always just be out for a sale! Get to know others, find out why they may need or want this financial and time freedom opportunity in their lives. Lastly, follow up! If you don't follow up with potentials who are open to your opportunity, you will never grow your team! The fortune is in the follow-up.

“One of the BIGGEST reasons that I have achieved rapid success in this business is that I'm a firm believer in personal development. I listen to audiobooks in my car daily, which is a very valuable thing for those with little time! Your success will never surpass your personal development! I'm also part of social media coaching groups, which I think really helps me plug into the best ways to use these types of platforms to attract others to your business. Ray Higdon is one of my favorite social media gurus and I follow him frequently. Personal development is absolutely part of my success and I'm pretty sure no one can be successful without it.

“A fun fact about me: I'm currently a full time nurse. When I started network marketing in 2016, I was given the nickname "NurseStephy" on Instagram. It stuck with me to this day, and most people know me as NurseStephy!

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER IRIS MCKOY!

2020club2_mckoy.jpg

PlanNet Marketing welcomes Iris McKoy to the 20/20 Club! Iris is from Snow Hill, a small town located in Eastern North Carolina. She has lived in the Raleigh-Durham area for 30 years but within the past two years has relocated to Goldsboro, NC. Iris tells us, “I love spending that quiet time with God, my son, and family. I love music and I play the flute in the Ensemble Music Ministry at my church. I love to travel and I love helping others.

“I have traveled to various states throughout the United States and I love to experience different cultures. One of my fondest memories is when I traveled with my son when he was chosen to study abroad for two weeks in Europe. We toured London, Paris, and Rome. It was an amazing experience to explore the different cultures and allowed for us to appreciate life even more.”

Iris shares her path to success: “There are three things that have allowed for me to be successful so far. The first is to follow the process. There is an AWESOME process that is already put in place for us - all we have to do is follow it. This is stressed to us from the very beginning. We have all heard the phrase, “If it’s not broke, don’t try and fix it!” Well, PlanNet Marketing isn’t broken, so why try and fix it. They have the documented evidence that their system works. Secondly is self-development. It is imperative to take a ‘GUT CHECK’ (in my Director Orlando Moore’s voice) inventory of yourself. I know there are things I can improve upon, and the only way I can improve is to be transparent with myself and allow those who are trying to help me get to the next level be transparent with me as well. These things may not always make you or me feel good and they aren’t supposed to! But in order to get to where we want to be in life, being transparent is one of the most important things necessary to becoming successful. Thirdly, always keep your WHY in front of you - the reason that you got started in this business in the first place. This is and should be the reason that makes you cry and the reason that will never make you quit!!

“The things that helped me most are being coachable, teachable, trainable, and staying plugged in to my sponsors and upline Directors. I allowed for them to stretch me even when I felt uncomfortable with being stretched. I realized that since I was new to network marketing, I needed to trust my upline to help me achieve where I wanted to be.

“A fun fact about me: I played the flute in high school. I hadn’t played in over 25 years but when asked to be the leader of our Ensemble Music Ministry at my church about two years ago, I taught myself how to play again in two weeks!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Amanda-Restivo175.jpg

It’s time for our annual installment of "Scary Truths from PlanNet Marketing." The truth about following the Policies and Procedures and staying legal and ethical in your business dealings can be very scary, but with a few tips and a healthy dose of knowledge, your PlanNet Marketing business won’t elicit fear in the hearts of you or your business partners.

Scary-Truth-chiller-font.jpg

Know the Rules, Follow the Rules

One dark, scary Halloween night, some independent contractors were just leaving their weekly meeting when a shadowy figure approached from across the foggy parking lot. As the figure drew closer they saw it was a businessman - he had some questions and the contractors had better have answers!

Do you get scared just THINKING about answering a prospect’s questions? What if you don’t KNOW the answers!?! That’s easy! PlanNet Marketing has your answers.

Here at PlanNet Marketing we advocate a business that is compliant and duplicatable – follow the rules and teach others to do the same. Step one is always to KNOW the rules yourself. Educate yourself first. When you ride in an airplane the flight attendants always remind you to put your own oxygen mask on before assisting others. If you can’t breathe, you won’t be able to save anyone else.

Get your oxygen masks out and prepare for anything. Learning the rules will give you the peace of mind that your business is compliant and ready to duplicate.

There really is no substitute for reading the rules for yourself. I truly wish each and every PlanNet Marketing Rep would read the entire Policies and Procedures document – all 21 pages of it! But the reality is, Reps often “agree” to be bound by these important rules without even a glance at the contents of the pages. Nothing can compare to knowing the details, but I’ve created a one-page set of bullet points that gives you a high-level overview of many of these policies (not everything). Start by reading this one pager! Once you get through it, dive into the full document. Not knowing these rules puts you and your business in danger of loss every minute of every day, and that is really scary.

Scary Truths 2.jpg
Policies and Procedures One Page Overview
  • Be respectful, ethical, moral, legal and financially sound in all your business dealings. Don't do anything or say anything damaging to you, PlanNet, or others. Don't be discouraging or negative - be supportive and encouraging. Follow the rules of PlanNet Marketing. Violating our policies, any law, or doing something that could damage PlanNet Marketing's reputation may result in disciplinary action. See Section 9.1 of the Policies and Procedures for a list of possible corrective measures.

  • The requirements to be a Rep: be of legal age and a resident of a country where PlanNet does business. Provide PlanNet with your tax information and agree to these policies and the IR Agreement.

  • The benefits of being a Rep are: Selling ITAs, enrolling Reps, earning commissions, communicating with PlanNet Marketing, participating in events for training, motivation and recognition.

  • Each person is allowed ONE Rep account - no exceptions.

  • Keep your Rep account active by paying your monthly fees. If you fail to pay your monthly fee for 60 days or more, your Rep account will be involuntarily canceled.Once a Rep account is canceled it cannot be reinstated. If you choose to voluntarily cancel, you must request cancellation in writing. PlanNet Marketing offers a 90-day satisfaction guarantee on all initial fees paid to the company - simply write to us and request a refund.

  • PlanNet Marketing has created an Income Disclosure Statement to show earnings of all Reps. Please share this when you're talking about our business.

  • Reps must strictly follow the PlanNet Marketing Compensation Plan and company presentation when presenting the business to prospects. Don't offer any other product, service, or system with or at the same time as you are offering the Rep business. Don't accept payment from prospects - every Rep should pay PlanNet Marketing directly. Don't offer special deals or pricing. Don't pay for anyone else's Rep or ITA account.

  • Reps should only use corporately created sales aids. Anything not created by PlanNet corporate must be reviewed and approved by the PlanNet Compliance department.

  • Don't use PlanNet's name, logo or third-party company names or logos without prior written authorization. Don't use the name "PlanNet Marketing" in your domain names, email addresses, online aliases, and/or social media pages.

  • Make certain that your online marketing activities are truthful and not misleading or deceptive. Don't list the PlanNet Rep business as a "job" and don't claim to be an employee of PlanNet Marketing - you're an independent contractor. Identify yourself as a PlanNet Marketing Rep.

  • We don't do sponsor changes - so please make sure you're happy with your sponsor before you enroll.

  • Don't sell other products, services, or systems to PlanNet Reps you didn't personally sponsor into the company. Don't join a competing company. Don't try to target other direct sellers and lure them away from their current company to join ours. Don't attempt to get a current Rep to cancel and join your team.

  • Understand that PlanNet shares confidential information with you to allow you to best manage your business, but that information does NOT belong to you. This includes downline personal contact information, reports and sales information, line of sponsorship, and internal forms and materials. We consider all of this information trade secrets and you cannot share them with others or use them for any purpose other than working for PlanNet Marketing.

  • Train your team - you should offer some initial training to new Reps and ongoing training in the form of communication and assistance when requested. Make sure your team isn't making untrue or misleading claims about our business or product. If another Rep is not following these rules - please report policy violations in writing to Compliance@plannetmarketing.com.

  • If you believe that PlanNet Marketing has made an error in commissions, bonuses, reports, or charges, please notify us in writing within 30 days to Support@plannetmarketing.com.

  • If your account is terminated from InteleTravel, your Rep account will be automatically terminated from PlanNet Marketing.

LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT ON: CHERYL CLEMONS

Cheryl-Clemons-Spotlight.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I am Cheryl R. Clemons, born in Chicago, reared in Oklahoma City, where I currently reside. I am a mother of seven beautiful children, grandmother of 6 1/2 amazingly talented, gorgeous grandchildren. I love to golf, dance, and play the piano. I am honored to have been named PlanNet Marketing Iron Woman, 4 and Free, 20/20 Club member, Gold Builder and the first One-Star Director in the State of Oklahoma.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
PlanNet Marketing has helped me to develop personally by connecting with some fantastic leaders. It has helped me reach beyond the things that are happening in that moment and focus on the bigger picture, push past the disappointments, and hope again. I realize if there is no hope in the future, there is no power in the present.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Like Mr. Bradley says, if your bank account is not where you desire it to be, that should motivate you. So knowing that my bank account is NOT where I desire it to be, motivates me!

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I like Tiffany Powell's tenacity and determination. I remember a time with her at the Women in Black event in Oklahoma and to see her NOW, wow! Also, when she asks me, “Sis, where you at?” I tell her. She is REAL, but encouraging with her responses. I can respect her for that…she praises and corrects.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Loyalty, Integrity, and Determined.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
My advice would be, run your race. Stay focused and put your blinders on and stay in your lane. Help as many as you can with your gift, compete but don't compare, be real with yourself, and last but not least, ENCOURAGE YOURSELF DAILY. You will have enough negativity from outside sources to last you a lifetime.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In the next five years of my life, I will be a Six-Star Director or very close! I will be in the top 30 income earners (at a minimum) by helping at least 10 people get to Directorship, with multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze Builders ranking in my organization. My grandchildren and I will have traveled to 30 countries. I will still be thanking God, and giving God all praise and honor.

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS DANIELLÉ AND ROY GREEN!

2020club2_green.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to welcome Daniellé (Dee) and Roy Green to the 20/20 Club! Daniellé tells us “Both my husband and I were born in Boston, MA and it is where we currently reside. I love to travel, shop, and eat out but my hubby would prefer otherwise…Roy loves to read and is an avid golfer. I initially got introduced to the business because I was an avid traveler and it only made sense. I made “going away” a priority and I traveled at least three times a year. When I met my husband, it just added to our connection and allows us to get away and only focus on us and enjoy what we both like doing. The turnaround for me was the PlanNet convention in Las Vegas. When I saw people walking across the stage winning, I promised myself that next convention that it would be me.

“This achievement is just the beginning. We know there is more to come because we have an “I won't give up on achieving our goals attitude.” We recommend staying persistent in following up, staying plugged in, remaining coachable, and attending events to expand your mindset. Thank you to all who have sown nuggets in us across the PlanNet!” #Nextlevel

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBERS EBONY AND GARY WAUGH!

2020club2_waugh.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is proud to welcome Ebony and Gary Waugh to the 20/20 Club. Ebony shares, “Allow us to start by first saying how humbled and excited we are to be afforded the opportunity to be a part of this amazing company (thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley, for your vision and passion), and to have the honor of being featured as a 20/20 Club member. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but my family relocated in the mid 80’s when I was a teenager. After living in several states across the U.S., and then marrying my husband, Gary, we moved back to Baltimore in 2014. Gary is originally from Columbus, Ohio.

“Gary and I share similar interests, which include helping people become their ideal selves, achieving their goals, and ultimately enjoying their lives to the fullest. As a nurse, it is in my very core to "help" people, so this has become my life's purpose. We also enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures, foods, and seeing God's hand in all the beautiful places all across this great planet Earth! I am an active member of my beloved sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and I strive to live up to our motto of "Service to All Mankind.” Gary and I are also active members in our church, and believe that having a connection to a higher spiritual being is the key to ALL success in life.

“We have traveled pretty extensively throughout the United States and also have been blessed to experience either by land or sea the following beautiful destinations: Jamaica (Montego Bay, Negril, and Ocho Rios), Bahamas (Freeport and Nassau), St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Mexico (Puerto Vallarta and Cancun), Aruba, Peru (Lima, Cusco, and Machu Pichu), Grand Cayman, Honduras, and Belize. We have several other destinations picked out to enjoy as well, with the blessing that being travel business owners now affords us.

“As I alluded to in a previous response, Gary and I consider ourselves to be "spiritual" beings, and firmly believe that with God ALL things are possible! So the success that we have achieved thus far has been made possible because we believe that "the heart of the builder must be right,” which sets the foundation for us to be impactful in the lives of others, and also effective in achieving our goals, and helping our team members achieve their goals as well.

“As for techniques that we can pass along, we just encourage others to remain humble, coachable, determined, and persistent in their pursuit of greatness and ultimately significance! I remember telling my mentor, Ms. JP Watkins, that I was a clean slate in this industry, and whatever she wrote on my slate is what I would do…and it has been paying off in a major way. We are also "enjoying our process," something else Ms. Watkins tells us each time she sees us. Finally, we have agreed that we are in this venture for the long haul, so we celebrate each milestone, and then put our heads back down to pursue our next one.

“A fun fact? We are connoisseurs of great food (a nicer way to say ‘we are foodies’), so our future travel plans will take us to Greece, Bora Bora, and Cuba! Our bags stay packed and our taste buds are ready!!!”

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Amanda-Restivo175.jpg

It's officially Autumn! The mornings are cool and crisp, the coffee shops are all selling pumpkin spice everything, your shorts are about to be traded for blue jeans, and leaves will start falling from trees. Just don't let your sales fall off with the leaves!

Whether you attended the Atlanta International Convention or not, now is the time to ramp up your business - sell, grow, teach!

Sell Some ITAs! Start sharing some videos and flyers from your Virtual Office, pique interest on social media and get some sales under your belt. Every direct sale of an ITA is $50 in your pocket.

Grow Your Team! Don't just sell the ITA, sell the whole package - many of your prospects would probably love to be a Rep just like you. Make sure you're offering the ITA and Rep businesses to your prospects. Once your new Reps make their first sales, you'll start reaping the rewards too (commissions and a larger team).

Train and Teach! Your business should be easily duplicatible. In other words, teach your new Reps to do what you do - how to sell and how to build. Plug them into company conference calls, local meetings, online social media groups, and give them PlanNet's Customer Service contact info. The more knowledgeable they are, the more successful they will be. Their success = your success! .

Don't wait another second to get busy! Winter is coming, but we have plenty of time to get ready - start working your business today to fund those holiday dreams!
