LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT ON: ONE-STAR DIRECTOR LAWANDA BAKER

Spotlight-LaWanda-Baker.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
I was born and raised in Jackson, TN and currently live in Alabaster, AL. I work full time as a graphic designer and I have been in the industry now over 20 years. I am the single mom of one beautiful 14-year-old daughter. In my spare time I love to spend time with my daughter, draw, paint, and create just for the pure enjoyment and relaxation of it, and of course I love to TRAVEL!

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
There simply is not enough room on a page to express how PlanNet has helped me grow! In addition to the focus and mental toughness that I have developed, PlanNet has awakened that competitive spirit and leadership ability that I was unaware that I possessed. I love the personal and professional progress that I see in myself. I say this in great humility because I am still being Coached, Trained and Developed daily to become the best version of me. I look forward to seeing what that will look like in the years to come!

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
In two words…Laila Simone. This is my daughter, my heartbeat. Here in Alabama it is just us. I know she looks to me for guidance, support, inspiration, and the stability that all children deserve. I know that I have been given an awesome blessing and to whom much is given, much is required. I remember a time when I was forced to make a decision that while freeing us, put us in a position of financial lack. I remember looking at her not knowing what was next or where we would sleep that night and wondering if I would ever be in the position to be able to give her all that she deserved. I am driven to make sure we never find ourselves there again. I know that there are many who have been there and some that are still there and I am motivated to help those people win for their families.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I consider my grandmother, Mama Helen, a role model because in a time where things were less than equal, she and her husband found a way to have something of their own. They opened and operated a small restaurant some time back in the late 50s, early 60s! I have always found that to be incredible, that against the unfair odds they were able to do that! As a little girl I can always remember Mama Helen telling me to make money but always "put a little away and make something of it." Her entrepreneurial spirit still lives in me today!

5. The three words that describe you best are:
Determined, Passionate, Authentic.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
BE COACHABLE!!! We have a wealth of successful individuals and layers of leadership to learn and grow with. Mr. Bradley is our success coach and he has told us so many times that he created this opportunity so that ordinary people can win financially in an extraordinary way. He has put this vehicle in place and positioned dynamic leadership as well to teach us how to drive that vehicle! WATCH, LISTEN, LEARN, and DO! Get out of your own way. Lock in and go for it!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I will be earning well over six and rapidly approaching seven figures with the PlanNet Marketing opportunity. This vehicle will be a strong financial resource for a creative venture I am planning. I will also be helping my daughter turn her dream business, a clothing boutique, into a reality!

CONGRATULATIONS TO DARRYL JENKINS FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR!

Darryl-Jenkins-1Star-Announce.jpg

PlanNet Marketing congratulates Darryl Jenkins on becoming a One-Star Director! Darryl was born and raised in the Washington, DC area, and currently resides in Hyattsville, MD. His interests include traveling, helping others, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Darryl tells us, “Although I haven’t really had much time to travel on my own, I do enjoy preparing travel for my clients that creates memories for them, and of course they continue to use and refer me, which is always a plus. Something about seeing where your clients will stay and those amenities they will enjoy should excite you to help more to travel.

“As I mentioned when I reached the 20/20 club last year, my success comes from a place of passion – wanting to help others and being able to expose them to an amazing opportunity that can change their lives. Just watching them tap into their potential and begin believing in themselves is an awesome feeling.  A tip I would pass along would be the same as I share with everyone I encounter… remain humble, remain consistent, and stay both coachable and connected. Often times we tend to drift away from our sponsors or disconnect ourselves, which limits our ability to grow in the business.

“I believe I achieved success so quickly because I was consistent in exposing my warm market to the business opportunity. Having now reached the 40/40 Club and One-Star Director in the same month, I believe comes from people understanding my passion, drive, and the determination I commit when doing anything. Therefore, they placed their trust in me and became partners, which I feel honored to hear. I also achieved this through engaging my team and working with them to reach their desired pin rankings while helping those in their downline find that desire to share the opportunity as well. I think if most are like me, when you get that first promotion you then want to keep going as far as you can push yourself.

“A little fun fact about me is that I enjoy spending time with my business partners as we have created a circle where we bond a few times a month (usually over food).”

WELCOME NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER CHERYL CAMPBELL!

2020club2._campbelljpg.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Cheryl Campbell to the 20/20 Club! Cheryl is from Hyattsville, MD and is a wife, mother, deaconess, and leader of the Hospitality Ministry at her church.  She says, “I am passionate about helping people and showing them a way to obtain financial freedom for their families. 20/20 was a goal that I saw myself achieving, but I had to get out of my comfort zone in order for me to make this goal a reality. This business has been a blessing to me and my family and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be able to go out and share it with everyone I come in contact with.

“I am currently employed with the federal government as an administrator in the field of health care. I realized after 34 years that I needed something else that would fulfill my life, and when I joined PlanNet Marketing, I really found the answer that I was looking for.

“I enjoy swimming, shopping, spending quality time with my family and traveling. My parents always took us on road trips for vacations and that was interesting and lots of fun. I remember a funny moment on our road trips constantly asking my parents, ‘Are we there yet?’ I was so excited to arrive at our destinations that I just could not wait to get there. Now, I am always looking for trips to take with my husband. We have been to Florida, Myrtle Beach, Jamaica, Cayman Islands and are currently going on a vacation cruise to the Bahamas for our wedding anniversary.

“I contribute my success to five things. 1) Prayer; 2) Listening to my leaders; 3) Following the system; 4) Being coachable; and 5) Personal development. All of these principles are necessary if you want to be successful in this business. I am looking forward to my next level of achievement to DIT (Director In Training) coming soon!

“I am so happy that I made the decision to partner with the Best Place on the PlanNet!”

WELCOME NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER ELAINE REID!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Elaine Reid to the 20/20 Club. Elaine tells us she was born and raised in Jamaica. She moved to New York in 2006 after living in Canada for three and half years. She currently resides in Cumming, GA. Her interests are travel, cooking, and, most of all, helping others overcome their valley moments, seeing winners evolved from brokenness and owning their path to success.

Elaine shares, “I love to travel but I didn’t understand where that love came from until I came into this business and started trying to understand this new journey I was on. I remember on Saturday mornings we would get ready and head out to visit relatives or the beach or some other attractions in and around rural Jamaica. In college I was part of a group (20 of us roughly) where we decided we would spend at least one night in every parish in Jamaica, and so we set out on that journey and after we achieved it, we started looking at the other Caribbean Islands. Cuba was on the list and then life happened, people moved away, and we started doing it with our individual families. I remember being responsible for finding the places to visit, the accommodations, meals, and deciding on how we were getting there…planning, organizing, communicating, and overseeing the execution plans. This is why I know I am in the right place. I’ve done the training and have years of experience even before I understood or realized that this industry can be the vehicle to change my life.

“Most of my recent travels have been around Canada, the US, and Jamaica. My next set of journeys will be to other Caribbean Islands, Europe, and Africa. I am heading to the Bahamas and I am currently planning a trip to Egypt and Jordan and bringing a group along. Group travel excites me; it’s what I know, been doing for so long, and was not being paid for it. Now I see the value of my experiences.

“My success in PlanNet Marketing stems from understanding the value of what I have in both businesses. It’s making sure I stay plugged in, using the systems provided for us (such as the PS3 System), helping my partners to start right, living up to what I said I would do, and holding each other accountable to the commitments we made to each other. Go to the meetings – I learn something new every time I go and I learn from those who are already successful. It’s ensuring my partners are informed so they are empowered in their own business, and then supporting their efforts through the systems in place. Summarizing – stay plugged in, be focused, set and know your goals, be consistent, do what you say you will do, help your new partners to start right, encourage duplication, and treat this like a business and not a hobby (if it’s a business it will be a priority in your life).

“A fun fact: I love to travel and visit new places but I HATE flying. I literally get panic attacks when I have to fly. Well, I have these grand places that I will be visiting and the problem is these more than 10-hour flights that I have to make it through. Well, challenge accepted – I can’t not live out my dreams to visit these places. Look out world I am on my way!”

Travel Vouchers and Incentives

I’ve seen and heard a LOT about travel vouchers lately – they are a hot topic, so let’s talk about them. Incentives are a great tool for growing your business – but you have to use them properly! Whether you’re offering a travel voucher for a nice trip to several destinations or a new set of Tupperware – there are rules that govern how you can use these incentives. Please read this and share with your team.

PlanNet Marketing does not allow our Reps to incentivize the sale of the ITA product in any way. That means you can’t give a prospect a discount, a gift, or any other thing to try to entice them to purchase the InteleTravel ITA product. Why would you NEED TO?! The InteleTravel at home Travel Agency is an amazing product that can stand on its own! No “extras” necessary – if someone doesn’t see the enormous value found in this amazing product, a 4-day, 3-night getaway isn’t going to convince them in the long run either.

What if you just love using travel vouchers and giving away free trips and other stuff? You still can! Feel free to use travel vouchers or other incentives to grow your online following, to entice people to attend your meetings or webinars, to encourage your team members to get competitive…just don’t tie the incentive to someone purchasing their own ITA.

For specific questions about this and other compliance matters you can email me directly at compliance@plannetmarketing.com

LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT ON: ONE-STAR DIRECTOR LOUISE GATLAND

Spotlight-Gatland.jpg

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights...
My name is Louise Gatland and I started my life living in Dunoon, Scotland. When I was seven I moved to Basingstoke, England where I currently still live. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and enjoy challenging bike rides - my longest so far is 75 miles. I spent the last 10 years working in a preschool and setting toddlers up to believe in themselves.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
My journey with PlanNet, which will be one year on July 2, has been amazing so far. Don't get me wrong; it has not been easy. It has encouraged me to dig really deep and work on my self development. But the achievements I have made so far make the journey exciting. I now believe that I am confident, I am a leader, and I am enjoying being me and finding the real me.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives and motivates me has also changed with my journey. At first I wanted to prove people wrong that I could be successful. But what I have learned is that I was already successful - I just didn't know it. I am now motivated by my incredible team and my goals to achieve more than I can possibly imagine.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Many people inspire me within this business. Cindy Bruggeman is an incredible inspiration; her journey and enthusiasm for life are amazing. Chanelle Fry, my mentor and coach - without her my journey would have been very different. She has helped me believe in myself. Eileen Ross is another phenomenal mentor. I remember meeting her in November; she told us her story and it connected with me in so many ways so I followed her on Facebook. She was then challenged to do Facebook Live which she had not done before…and her confidence grew so much. She taught me that I will be forever learning no matter what level we are at.

5. The three words that describe you best are:
I have been thinking about this for a few hours now. I was tempted to ask Facebook but I want to do this on my own. Passionate, Coachable, Friendly.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
I was asked this by the one and only Donald Bradley when I was on stage receiving my Director’s jacket and star. My one piece of advice would be to never ever give up. There have been times I thought I wanted to, but getting through those times was when I had my greatest achievements. The more you fight and work at it, the stronger you become.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I can visualise that in five years’ time I will have four stars on my jacket, working towards my fifth star. I will own a nice new car. I have savings in my account. My children are happy and healthy and know that whatever they want to do in life as long as they believe, it will happen. I have a team of Directors who also have a team of Directors. My extension on my house will be complete and my husband will be working in a job that he wants to do. I am traveling more with my family. I'm happy and the people close to me are happy.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YAKINEA MARIE FOR ACHIEVING ONE-STAR DIRECTOR AND 40/40 CLUB!

4040club_marie.jpg

PlanNet Marketing welcomes new One-Star Director Yakinea Marie to the 40/40 Club!
Traveling the world and developing entrepreneurs
is one of Yakinea Marie's passions and being a part of PlanNet Marketing has positioned her to live her dreams of traveling more, while impacting lives.

Yakinea Marie is a certified business coach, business owner, and bestselling author who has found great fulfillment in partnering with Mr. Donald Bradley and his field of leaders. One of her keys to success is staying coachable by following PlanNet's success system, remaining a student of the industry, putting in the work, and her willingness to help her team succeed.

One of her favorite quotes is by Abraham Lincoln, "The best way to predict the future is to create it."

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER MICHAEL PRATT!

2020club2_pratt.jpg

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Michael Pratt to the 20/20 Club! Michael lives in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and tells us his interests are education, sports, family, food, and experiencing new things. He has traveled all over the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. His parents sparked an interest in learning more about the United States while traveling during a road trip that took an entire summer in which they visited 13 states! “It was an awesome experience!”

Michael says, “My achievement in success at PlanNet Marketing comes through belief in what we have and what we do, following stellar leadership, continuing to grow myself, and execution. We have the best service on the PlanNet and it continues to get better. Our leadership is the best bar none; their hearts for the people in the field and support offered ensures success. All of this is nothing if we do not put our hand to the plow; we have to take the learned knowledge and turn it into applied knowledge.

“I achieved success by following the system put in place without question. Embracing my growth process. Learning more about me and the skills that I need to continue to grow, and coaching others on my team to do the same.

“A fun fact about myself…I am a huge ‘foodie.’ My next travel experiences will be cuisine related. Stay tuned!”

MEET NEW 20/20 CLUB MEMBER VERONICA SCURRY!

2020club2_scurry.jpg

PlanNet Marketing welcomes Veronica Scurry to the 20/20 Club! Veronica lives in Orlando, FL. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, writing, singing, and traveling. She has been traveling since childhood, mainly cruising. She tells us that her family are big cruisers, but since joining this awesome travel business, she now plans to enjoy more all-inclusive resorts and exotic destinations!

Veronica shares, “My success in PlanNet Marketing has come from me plugging into training calls, meetings, and listening to my coaches. Tips that I would pass along to others would be to never stop learning. Don’t think you know it all even if you do know some things. Be a sponge and soak up as much as you can from those who are where you want to be.

“A fun fact about me is that I make up and sing songs to just about anything and most of the time I don’t realize it until my husband or kids ask me why I have to sing everything. Lol.”
