PLANNET MARKETING WELCOMES PHYLLIS COLLINS TO THE 20/20 CLUB!
PlanNet Marketing is proud to recognize Phyllis Collins as the newest member of the prestigious 20/20 Club. She tells us that as a single parent of two, with a son, 5, and a daughter, 2. She was born in Amarillo, TX and has lived in Houston for the past 13 years. Phyllis loves to travel and experience new things, enjoys helping people in the community and spending time with her family.
She relates, “I’ve been with the company since July 2016; this was my first time in network marketing. I knew nothing about the travel industry except the fact that I traveled and wanted to save on my own travel. On the marketing side, I’ve met some awesome leaders along the way who have helped me get to the next level. I’ve learned that you do not have to re-invent the wheel; there is a system in place, and once you actually plug into that system, you will be successful.”
To new people joining our company, she offers this great advice:
➤ Work on personal development
➤ Be willing to invest time
➤ Always be coachable and teachable
➤ Stay plugged in
➤ Never miss an event that you qualify to attend
➤ Follow the PS3
➤ Always remember to follow up – keep a calendar and notes
PlanNet Marketing congratulates Phyllis Collins on achieving 20/20 Club Membership!
COMPLIANCE CORNER
My first job in high school was working the drive-thru window at my local Steak ‘n Shake. Not the most glamourous, but for $5.25 an hour, I donned my black apron and red bowtie and handed burgers, fries and shakes through that tiny window. I think all jobs require a certain amount of flexibility and this one was no different. My main responsibility was serving the drive-thru customers, but sometimes I had to make shakes or help with the front counter. Other workers would take breaks and I would help cover them for 15-30 minutes. Most of the managers at my restaurant were happy to sit in the back office and smoke and talk while we lowly workers covered each other’s breaks. But there was one – one manager I shall not ever forget. Why? Because he wasn’t the “norm,” he stood out, he went the extra mile. He NEVER asked one of his employees to do something that he wouldn’t do. In fact, when it was time for anyone to take a break – even the person washing dishes, he would go wash dishes for thirty minutes so they wouldn’t pile up while the dishwasher was gone. That set a precedent in my mind about what makes a good manager, a good boss, a good leader!
Fast forward a few years (or 17 years) and I’ve worked a few different jobs for lots of different bosses – all of them have their good qualities, but few have ever “washed the dishes” for me.
Until now.
I love working for PlanNet Marketing. LOVE IT. I have never worked for a company with so much integrity. It starts at the tippy-top. I know you all know who I mean – Mr. Donald Bradley and his wife Deborah.
These two are phenomenal people. Not just “bosses,” but LEADERS. They lead with integrity and they are willing to do everything they ask of those who work with and for them. And THEY DO IT! They do the grunt work, they make the tough phone calls, they deal with the difficult situations. They plan events and travel constantly to make your events successful. They're plugged in to the day-to-day stuff that needs doing. When I call and need something – they answer the phone! That’s what I call “washing the dishes.”
When you read the very first paragraph of the PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures, it states, “PlanNet Marketing is a values‐based company that prides itself on the quality and character of its Independent Representatives.” I’m proud to say that the quality and character expected of each of you – is modeled in our Founders.
You are never asked to do something that they can’t or won’t do. In fact, I’d wager they have already done it – all of it. Every single thing you’ve had to deal with in your business, from that first nerve-wracking presentation to getting along with someone on your team who you can’t stand – they’ve done it five times over.
The next time you find yourself in a business situation that makes you uncomfortable or frustrated, annoyed or exhausted; when you just don't know what to do next - figure out how you can "wash the dishes" for the other person. Take the extra step, extend your hand, go above and beyond, take responsibility, do what needs to be done to make it right -- WASH THOSE DISHES, people.
This company truly is the BEST place on the PlanNet – and we’re so glad you’re here!

CUSTOMER SUPPORT Q&A
Q: How do I know if my Rep autoship ($19.95) declined?
A: When a Rep monthly autoship ($19.95) declines, three things take place:
- You get an email from PlanNet stating that there was a problem processing your autoship.
- If you log in to your Virtual Office, you will see a message across the top of your screen telling you the payment declined and the steps necessary to fix it.
- Our PlanNet Support Team will place an outbound call to you and let you know the payment declined, followed by an email if they are unable to reach you.
We cannot stress enough the importance of having up-to-date contact information on file so we can reach you if there is a problem.
Thank You,
Sarah Muscarella, Manager, Customer Support

PLANNET MARKETING WELCOMES BARBADOS!
Welcome, Barbados, to the ever-expanding PlanNet! Barbados is an eastern Caribbean island in the Atlantic Ocean, and an independent British Commonwealth nation. Its capital is Bridgetown, in the parish of Saint Michael, a cruise ship port with beautiful colonial buildings. The island was formally settled by the British in 1627. After cotton crops did not survive, sugarcane was introduced from Dutch Brazil in 1640, completely transforming society and the economy. That economy has diversified into the manufacturing and tourism sectors.
The culture of Barbados is a blend of West African, Creole, Indian and British cultures. Citizens are officially called Barbadians. English is the official language. This sophisticated island’s west coast holds numerous deluxe resorts, and it and the interior highlands have several historical sites with picturesque views. You will also find amazing beaches, botanical gardens, the Harrison’s Cave formation, and 17th-century plantation houses like St. Nicholas Abbey. Local traditions include afternoon tea and cricket, the national sport. Welcome to the PlanNet!

CONGRATULATIONS TO CATHERINE SMALL ON ACHIEVING 20/20 CLUB!
Welcome to the 20/20 Club, Cathy Small! Cathy tells us that she is the mother of a 20-year-old son, a six-year-old daughter, and she has been a wife for 12 years. She is originally from the Bronx, NY and now resides in Charlotte, NC, where she has lived for the past 13 years. “I love to read, travel, and work as a volunteer for different agencies. I have a passion for helping others and volunteer as often as I can. We give up a few hours on Christmas every year in my home town to go to our local shelter and feed the less fortunate who do not have families of their own.”
Cathy continues, “Before getting into this business, the extent of my travels were Florida and Las Vegas. Because of this business, I now have a passport and have traveled to Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, and Jamaica, all in 2015. Originally, I got into the business to be able to save on travel for my family and make money booking travel for others. Once I started plugging into the resources available to us, it finally clicked that I needed to work on the network marketing side as well and have never looked back. I knew I wanted more for my family and realized that working and receiving the same pay on the first and fifteenth of the month was never going to set my family free. I knew it was time to do something different and this opportunity just made sense!
My success so far is contributed to staying close to my coach, running the plays that she calls, and most importantly, being coachable. I am well on my way to financial freedom, personal freedom, and time freedom and it is because of Mr Bradley and his vision that this is even possible! DIT is my current location but not my final destination!”
PlanNet Marketing congratulates Catherine Small on achieving 20/20 Club Membership!

COMPLIANCE CORNER
Next week at this time, thousands of our PlanNet Marketing Reps will be converging on the Bally’s and Paris hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2017 National Convention USA!!! Will you be joining us in “Sin City” for the experience of a lifetime? I sure hope so!
Just remember, there’s lots of fun to be had while still following the rules – don’t gamble with your business by being careless with your words (even if you will be in the “Gambling Capital of the World”). Remember that while you’re in Vegas, you’re a Rep, representing PlanNet Marketing. PlanNet’s an exciting business and you just love telling others (we love that!) You probably will want to share a bit about InteleTravel too – since the InteleTravel Internet Travel Agency is our product, that’s totally understandable! You just have to be careful how you tell people about these two, amazing, separate businesses.
I’m a Rep! If you meet someone and tell them you’re a Rep with PlanNet Marketing in one breath, don’t say, “and I travel like a professional” in the next breath. You might be a Rep and you might travel like a “pro” but Reps aren’t travel agents and Reps don’t sell travel. Reps sell ITAs! Make sure if you tell others you’re a Rep, that you talk about being a Rep – the freedom it affords because you can work when it’s best for you, the fellowship with others, meeting people every day and talking to them about the life-changing choice you made when you joined PlanNet, the extra income, and the commission you earn when those people purchase an ITA business. In fact, many Reps choose to purchase an ITA in addition to their Rep business.
I’m an ITA! If you’ve chosen to purchase an ITA for yourself, you may want to share that too. If you meet someone and tell them you’re an ITA or an Agent with InteleTravel, don’t follow that up by saying, “and I make a commission every time I sell an ITA.” ITAs don’t sell the online travel agency, ITAs sell travel! If you tell others you’re an ITA, talk about being an ITA – selling travel to family, friends, and others you know (or don’t know!), earning a commission on those travel sales, travel training and certification, the list goes on!
If you’re reading this blog – I know you’re a Rep! But you may also be an ITA. Many of you wear both of those hats and sometimes you forget which one you’re wearing. Make sure you keep your facts straight when talking to anyone about PlanNet Marketing or InteleTravel. They’re both great companies. They both have amazing products/opportunities to offer. They’re both very DIFFERENT.
If you’re traveling this coming week, or just out spreading the good word – remember to wear one hat at a time – you can keep the other in your back pocket so you can do a quick change if you need to, but make sure the people you’re talking to know who you are – a Rep or an ITA.
