Welcome to the 20/20 Club, Cathy Small! Cathy tells us that she is the mother of a 20-year-old son, a six-year-old daughter, and she has been a wife for 12 years. She is originally from the Bronx, NY and now resides in Charlotte, NC, where she has lived for the past 13 years. “I love to read, travel, and work as a volunteer for different agencies. I have a passion for helping others and volunteer as often as I can. We give up a few hours on Christmas every year in my home town to go to our local shelter and feed the less fortunate who do not have families of their own.”

Cathy continues, “Before getting into this business, the extent of my travels were Florida and Las Vegas. Because of this business, I now have a passport and have traveled to Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, and Jamaica, all in 2015. Originally, I got into the business to be able to save on travel for my family and make money booking travel for others. Once I started plugging into the resources available to us, it finally clicked that I needed to work on the network marketing side as well and have never looked back. I knew I wanted more for my family and realized that working and receiving the same pay on the first and fifteenth of the month was never going to set my family free. I knew it was time to do something different and this opportunity just made sense!

My success so far is contributed to staying close to my coach, running the plays that she calls, and most importantly, being coachable. I am well on my way to financial freedom, personal freedom, and time freedom and it is because of Mr Bradley and his vision that this is even possible! DIT is my current location but not my final destination!”

Next week at this time, thousands of our PlanNet Marketing Reps will be converging on the Bally’s and Paris hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2017 National Convention USA!!! Will you be joining us in “Sin City” for the experience of a lifetime? I sure hope so!
 
Just remember, there’s lots of fun to be had while still following the rules – don’t gamble with your business by being careless with your words (even if you will be in the “Gambling Capital of the World”). Remember that while you’re in Vegas, you’re a Rep, representing PlanNet Marketing. PlanNet’s an exciting business and you just love telling others (we love that!) You probably will want to share a bit about InteleTravel too – since the InteleTravel Internet Travel Agency is our product, that’s totally understandable! You just have to be careful how you tell people about these two, amazing, separate businesses.

I’m a Rep! If you meet someone and tell them you’re a Rep with PlanNet Marketing in one breath, don’t say, “and I travel like a professional” in the next breath. You might be a Rep and you might travel like a “pro” but Reps aren’t travel agents and Reps don’t sell travel. Reps sell ITAs! Make sure if you tell others you’re a Rep, that you talk about being a Rep – the freedom it affords because you can work when it’s best for you, the fellowship with others, meeting people every day and talking to them about the life-changing choice you made when you joined PlanNet, the extra income, and the commission you earn when those people purchase an ITA business. In fact, many Reps choose to purchase an ITA in addition to their Rep business.
 
I’m an ITA! If you’ve chosen to purchase an ITA for yourself, you may want to share that too. If you meet someone and tell them you’re an ITA or an Agent with InteleTravel, don’t follow that up by saying, “and I make a commission every time I sell an ITA.” ITAs don’t sell the online travel agency, ITAs sell travel! If you tell others you’re an ITA, talk about being an ITA – selling travel to family, friends, and others you know (or don’t know!), earning a commission on those travel sales, travel training and certification, the list goes on!
 
If you’re reading this blog – I know you’re a Rep! But you may also be an ITA. Many of you wear both of those hats and sometimes you forget which one you’re wearing. Make sure you keep your facts straight when talking to anyone about PlanNet Marketing or InteleTravel. They’re both great companies. They both have amazing products/opportunities to offer. They’re both very DIFFERENT.
 
If you’re traveling this coming week, or just out spreading the good word – remember to wear one hat at a time – you can keep the other in your back pocket so you can do a quick change if you need to, but make sure the people you’re talking to know who you are – a Rep or an ITA.

Please show this letter (either printed or on smartphone) to REGISTRATION CENTRAL to receive your printed Name Badge.

When you arrive at REGISTRATION CENTRAL (outside of the Grand Ballroom / Events Center of Bally’s hotel resort,) present this letter to receive your printed Name Badge and Convention Kit.  The Kit consists of a Convention Bag containing your lanyard and other Convention material. You should assemble your Name Badge, complete your luggage tag and attach it to your Convention Bag immediately.

REGISTRATION CENTRAL will be open for early check-in on Thursday, April 6th from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, then opens again Friday, April 7th at 8:00 AM. BEAT THE CROWDS!

Please wear your Name Badge for entry to ALL PlanNet functions during ALL programs on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday.

PlanNet University classes will be conducted on Friday, April 7th. Class times are 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:30 PM. There will be a detailed class schedule in your Convention Magazine (in your Convention Bag). There are four classrooms, six class times and twenty-four classes with many topics to choose from. If you arrive at a classroom that has reached attendance capacity, you may select from a number of other available classes. Fire Marshall rules require that doors will be closed when capacity is achieved – Sorry, no exceptions.

Important: Saturday General Session I Ballroom Entry Order. To cut down on the mad rush to seats at the opening of the ballroom at 7:30 AM Saturday morning, attendees will be admitted in groups by the number shown on your Name Badge. Number 1’s will be admitted at 7:45 AM, and each numbered group will be admitted minutes later, number 2’s at 7:50 AM, number 3’s at 7:55 AM, and so on. An announcement will be made in the lobby for each group. Numbers were assigned in the order of the registrations received.

Lost & Found at REGISTRATION CENTRAL. Please keep your bags, purses, and all valuables with you at ALL times. We cannot stress this enough.

20/20 CLUB WELCOMES SHAKETTA GILES!

New 20/20 Club Member Shaketta Giles was born, raised, and resides in Conyers, GA. She says, “I have an amazing 16-year-old son. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Marketing. I have found my niche. Network marketing and travel are for me!”

Shaketta tells us that she would like to travel the world. Her  bucket list consists of Egypt, Hawaii, Alaska, and Dubai and she says it’s time to get some stamps on her passport! She has been to Denver, San Francisco, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Boston, the Bahamas, and Miami.

When asked about achieving success at PlanNet Marketing, Shaketta shares, “I want to continue to grow my business. I am determined to be successful. I focus on my 'Why.’ Whenever I feel discouraged or become frustrated, I always revisit my 'Why.'”

Her tips for success: Duplicate, follow the PS3, remain consistent, stay close to the team, and always be willing to assist. She adds,”Stay plugged in, be coachable, follow the system set in place, always follow up with your prospects, stay committed, and remember your ‘Why!’”

20/20 CLUB WELCOMES MARCUS AND LAFLOWER BOWIE!

Marcus and LaFlower Bowie are the newest members of the prestigious 20/20 Club!  The couple are also Directors in Training and have qualified for the March Madness promotion!  Marcus is from Houston and LaFlower is from Brookshire, TX, a small town outside Houston. Marcus works in telecommunications and LaFlower in the GPS monitoring industry. The couple says, “We absolutely love our XL family - six girls and one boy, ages 2 - 17 - because there is never a dull moment in our house! At times we are a very playful, silly, goofy type of family who are foodies who njoy trying new restaurants.” Their interests include the kids’ activities, church, sports, community events, cooking, and music.

Although they have been in the network marketing industry for some years, they wish they would have been introduced to the business of travel much sooner. They have traveled across the United States, with Las Vegas and New York City as two of their favorites. Now they look forward to traveling more and leaving their footprints across the globe. 

Marcus and LaFlower attribute their success to some amazing coaches and leaders, such as One-Star Director Jermaine Irvin, Three-Star Directors Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Rollins, and Four-Star Director JP Watkins, all who have been with them every step of the way.

The couple offers these tips for success: “There is sooooo much power in the ‘Plug In’. We know social media is a booming platform to develop relationships and get the word out about your business – and we LOVE that you’re making the most of it. Just make sure the platform you’re using is actually “social” media.
 
We allow our Reps to use many social media platforms – such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other blogs and forums. Each of these sites offers the Rep and the prospect the ability to see who the other person is – it’s social networking. Network Marketing is our business, so it’s a perfect match! I love interacting with friends, family, and PlanNet Marketing folks via my Facebook account. Everyone knows who I am and I can see who they are – it’s transparent.
 
Please do not use Craigslist. Craigslist is not a “social” media platform and does not allow for a social or networking environment. It only allows for blind ads to be placed that can be misleading, deceptive, not personal, not social, not networking. It’s too easy for misunderstanding and mishaps to happen via this platform. PlanNet Marketing does not allow the use of this site for promoting your business.

Not only do we want to be the Best Place on the PlanNet, we want to be the place best known for our integrity and transparency – no need to hide behind a blind ad –  we offer an amazing product that anyone would want to purchase and an opportunity that can change lives.
