MEET ONE-STAR DIRECTOR AND 20/20 CLUB MEMBER TRUDY SCOTT

One Star Director and 20/20 Club Member Trudy Scott is a wife, mother and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Long Island, NY, she moved to Los Angeles to attend college where she received her  degree in Biology and Public Health. While in Los Angeles, Trudy worked in the fashion and entertainment industry. She has been married for 30 years to a professional NBA basketball player, and they are the proud parents of three adult children. They now reside in Atlanta, GA.

Trudy tells us, “My husband and I are true entrepreneurs. We owned a fine men’s shoe boutique in Los Angeles for 10 years. We did all of our buying in London, Paris and Italy. This formed a true love of TRAVEL. Owning a “traditional” business came at a huge cost including  inventory, employees, payroll, taxes, and rent. We were introduced to the direct sales industry 20 years ago and have never looked back. We understood the power of ‘owning’ your own business, but network marketing unveiled the power of ‘owning’ your life. It revealed to us the power of leverage. Through this opportunity we have moved from brick and mortar to click and order!”

“In PlanNet Marketing, I am a Founding Director and a Director maker. I am a member of the 20/20 Club and top income earner. With PlanNet Marketing there isn’t a ceiling; your actions determine your worth. My key to success is recognizing the fact that you are the CEO and President of your own multi-million dollar company. Envision yourself on the 80th floor of your high rise, sitting around your mahogany table…who sits on your board of directors? Treat it like a multi-million dollar business and it will reward you as such!”

Director Scott shares that being an entrepreneur takes hard work, dedication and the desire to help others win, and working with the leadership of PlanNet Marketing has exceeded her wildest expectations. “The professionalism and efficiency of the support team is unparalleled. The opportunity to work from home creating lasting memories is a dream come true. I love helping others, love making a difference and living my life on purpose. My biggest joy is seeing my team WINNING! My philosophy is honesty, integrity, consistency and belief in one’s self. Thank you Donald Bradley for your vision!

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Halloween is right around the corner, and in the next couple of weeks I’m going to feature some of the scary truths about the PlanNet Marketing Policies and Procedures. Keep in mind, these rules were all put in place to protect each and every one of our valued PlanNet Reps – but no protection can be in place without some consequences for rule-breakers. So here we go...

The Scary Truth About NOT Paying Your Monthly Fees! *creepy music plays*

It was a dark and stormy Friday morning, a commission payment day, and you somehow missed paying your PlanNet monthly account fee of $19.95! *muah, ha, ha, ha, haaaaaa*

In order to enjoy all the benefits of a Rep account with PlanNet Marketing, you must remain active by paying your monthly Rep fee of $19.95. If you don’t pay your monthly fee, you risk missing out on commissions!!! *SCREAMS* And even more scary, you risk losing your business. *gasps* “NOOOOOOO!” Yes, it’s true!!!

A Rep who allows their business to remain inactive (by not paying) for 60 days or more will lose all rights to their downline and Matrix position. If that Rep doesn’t reactivate within the 60-day grace period, PlanNet considers their account as cancelled and their agreement with PlanNet is expired. These accounts will be turned off and compressed. The Rep who owned the now canceled account is not allowed to reapply for a new Rep business for 12 months following the expiration of their Rep agreement.

SO SCARY!!! But, it’s true. If PlanNet Marketing allowed Reps to build a team but fail to pay their monthly fee and work their business - not actively supporting their team - then the networking model would fail.  In order to protect those Reps who are active and fulfilling their agreements, we must remove these inactive positions.

Tune in next week for another scary truth that’s keeping you and your PlanNet business safe!!!

This resort in Cancún stands out for its high quality and its Barceló All Inclusive package, which allows guests to enjoy the great services and facilities, featuring rooms with a Mediterranean style.

The culinary options of Barceló Costa Cancún include four incredible restaurants with offerings from international to traditional Mexican food. ONE-STAR DIRECTOR GAVIN IRBY CONSIDERS HIMSELF “THE BRIDGE”

One-Star Director and 20/20 Club Member Gavin Irby is an entrepreneur with 11 years experience in the marketing field. He had been searching for the perfect company and fit that actually delivered on its promises since 2006.  In 2015 PlanNet Marketing found him and since then he has been providing people, friends, and family with a real opportunity to dream again and an opportunity for fathers, mothers, and anyone who believes in the American dream to create a legacy for their family.

Previously Gavin has worked in the automotive and hospitality fields. His work in the automotive field consisted of German engineered vehicles, which he still does on the side. The hospitality field consisted of managing sports arenas and stadiums under the umbrella of the New York Yankees brand. Gavin says, “Now that I am with PlanNet Marketing, the skills acquired while in the hospitality field I use more than ever to help lead, while staying humble enough to keep learning in this ever changing environment.”

Gavin Irby graduated valedictorian from the Universal Technical Institute, where he learned how to excel through adversity in a challenging field where the information is changing constantly. He also found time to graduate from Winston-Salem State in the Exercise Science and Physiology department.

Gavin achieved the rank of One-Star Director in less than a year and has his eyes set on the next milestone of Two-Star Director. He tells us that his next major project is helping three other teammates achieve One-Star Director, as he knows there is power, strength and wisdom in “We instead of me.”

Gavin Irby is from New York, New York but now resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, which he calls home and where he realized the world is his classroom. “School is in! Let recess begin!” He likes to modify and race cars, speed skate, play football, read, mountain bike, and he loves flying. Travel experiences include Belize, France, Amsterdam, Spain, California, Texas, Illinois, and all of the East Coast of the States except for Maine.

Gavin tells us that he achieves his success by remembering that he has two ears and one mouth for a reason. He spends more time listening than talking. He also reads consistently and always accepts constructive criticism. Director Irby considers himself “The Bridge,” with the real potential to help thousands of families accomplish their goals with this marketing opportunity. He states, “You must be challenged, be pushed, be uncomfortable, and be out of your comfort zone if you choose to be remarkable. Mediocrity is cancer to the soul.”

CONGRATULATIONS TO 20/20 CLUB MEMBER KENNY GRAHAM, JR.

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to recognize 20/20 Club member Kenny Graham, Jr. Kenny was born and raised in Laurinburg, NC and now resides in Atlanta, GA. He is married to Natalie Nicole Graham and is a professional baseball player. Kenny relates that his interests are music, sports, traveling, and food! He has lived in the Dominican Republic and has been to every state except North and South Dakota. He and Natalie have been to Jamaica twice, the Cayman Islands, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico and Grand Turks within the past two years.

When asked about his PlanNet Marketing success, Kenny says, “I am achieving success in PlanNet Marketing because my wife and I are putting ourselves last and making sure we help other families succeed just as much as we are. We feel it's extremely shameful to have this opportunity and not let other families know about this as well.”

PAYLUTION SECURITY UPDATE

Hey PlanNet Reps,

In today's world we use the Internet for just about everything - it's convenient, but there are risks involved. We have partnered with Hyperwallet's Paylution Portal to make paying you all fast, easy and SAFE!

In light of several global high-profile data breach events this year, Hyperwallet has chosen to accelerate the rollout of new security-related practices and features for their website and your PlanNet Paylution Portal.

In the coming days and weeks the following practices and features will be implemented:

  • Forced password changes every 180 days; this will begin with a notification that the current password has expired and must be reset.
  • Disabling of any BackOffice user account that has not been accessed for more than 90 days. Accounts can be re-enabled by calling Production Support.
  • The use of “Captcha” technology during the Account Activation process.
  • Email alerting upon the change of any Wallet or BackOffice account data.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact PlanNet's Paylution division by emailing Paylution@plannetmarketing.com or you can always call our PlanNet support team or the Paylution Production Support Team.

Thank you!

Q of the Week

Q: If I get locked out of my Paylution account how do I get it unlocked?

A: Call PlanNet Marketing Customer Support at 470-443-9330 or Paylution at 855-244-7984. You will be asked to verify the answers to your security questions to unlock the account. You may also request a password reset at that time if you have forgotten your password.

COMPLIANCE CORNER

I can’t believe I’m even writing this Compliance Tip for you all today, because truly, you’re FANTASTIC at training! I read the PlanNetNOW Blog every week and over and over I read “Don’t miss a meeting you are qualified to attend.” That’s so great!!! But did you know, your ongoing responsibility as a Rep and a leader of your team goes beyond just attending meetings and getting your team to attend?

You are responsible for keeping your team “trained” and that can seem daunting. You’re already doing a great job because you’re getting them to all those meetings and trainings – WAY TO GO! But don’t forget that ongoing training of your Reps includes personal interaction.

  • Talk to your Reps one-on-one. Make sure you’re giving them your undivided attention sometimes. Call and see how they’re doing. Text and ask if they need anything from you. Send an email to just that Rep and give them some encouragement.

  • Invite them to meetings. Obviously this step is pretty easy because they’re probably already coming to local meetings, but make SURE they know when meetings and trainings are happening and encourage them to invite others.

  • Point them in the right direction. If a Rep on your team needs to know about a PlanNet Policy or has a question about their account – point them to our PlanNet Support Team or to the “Resources” section of their Virtual Office. Make sure they get the right information from the right source.

  • Keep them from doing the wrong thing! If you see a Rep on your team doing something or saying something that you know is wrong – tell them. It really is very simple, but maybe they don’t know it’s wrong. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to them about it, or they just aren’t listening to you – then contact Compliance and we’ll talk to them about it. But don’t ignore it!

  • Remind them to train their Reps. Remind your personally sponsored Reps to keep in touch with their team and keep them trained too! You should want your Reps to copy your actions and duplicate your efforts with their teams. Train them through your actions – it’s the best way to teach and learn!

GREAT WORK, TEAM!
LET'S ALL SHOOT FOR THE STARS!

MEET NEW ONE-STAR DIRECTOR BARON BROWN

Baron Brown, one of the PlanNet’s newest One-Star Directors, was born in Waterbury, CT and was raised and currently lives in Stone Mountain, GA. He has four brothers and is the middle child. Baron attended both the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. He relates that he loves traveling (of course), working out, investing in real estate and working with youth.

Baron tells us, “One of my most memorable travel experiences was two years ago. I had the opportunity to rent an apartment in the middle of  Santo Domingo, DR for three weeks. Each morning I spent three hours attempting to learn Spanish and the rest of the day exploring the amazing city.”

He attributes his success in PlanNet Marketing to always showing up. He says, “By taking this one simple step of never missing an event you're qualified for, you will constantly have access to sources of information and training, and be around positive people to keep you uplifted. Following the PS3 and training new agents to do the same has helped to create the duplication necessary to become a Director.”

Fun Fact: “I have the 9-year-old high school record for the 400m at Miller Grove High School!”

CONGRATULATIONS TO 20/20 CLUB MEMBER AMANDA R. OWENS

New 20/20 Club Member Amanda Ruggs Owens shares that she is “from Mobile (Mo-beel), Alabama, home of the Mardi Gras (bet you didn’t know that) and also called the Port City!” She says she is a lover of travel and good eats off the beaten path, and she loves to see cities as a local, not as a tourist. She finds that music is the heart of all things and she uses music to better express who she is.

Amanda traveled extensively for business for about seven years, and has been to almost every major city in America, calling Hartsfield Atlanta Airport her second home! “Now I get to see the world on my terms! My husband and I were lucky enough to experience the Punta Cana Inteletrip at Club Med! First time both of our passports were stamped; so happy we could experience that together! Travel brings out the best in me!”

She continues, “I am achieving success because I have the best sponsor in the world, Mrs. Rasheba McGowan! Believe in the person who introduced you to this business! My calendar (phone and physical) is my lifeline and the only way I can stay on track - not forgetting anything with a full time job and family to take care of. The PlanNet mobile app is a lifesaver with keeping up with your stats and your business partners.”

Amanda says she has achieved success with duplication and goes on to say,  “If possible be ignorance on fire - which simply means don’t overthink, push fear aside, and dive in head first! ALWAYS PLUG IN AND STAY CONSISTENT! Make sure you are copying the right cat! Don’t reinvent the wheel because you will only set yourself back. Create an affirmation and speak it daily! Believe in what you put out into the atmosphere!”

A fun fact! “I am a true southern girl who loves her football! Not only do I watch it, I understand it completely!”

Book of the Month

Beginning this week, Founder and Chairman Donald Bradley will be choosing a book of the month to be featured on the first Friday of every month! Donald stresses the importance of reading - always continuing to learn as you earn.

This month’s recommended book is Building an Empire by Brian Carruthers, who says, “Since it didn’t exist - and I always wished I had one - I wanted to write the ultimate, complete A-Z blueprint on everything it takes to go from scratch to a seven figure income in network marketing.”

PlanNet Leaders will be reading this book and talking about the key points throughout the month of October on some of the Morning Calls.

COMPLIANCE CORNER

Videos, flyers, business cards – you use them every day to promote your business. But where are you getting them? Are you using a PlanNet Black Business Card? Did you contact the corporate office to get your flyer approved? Did you create your own presentation or video?

We know you want the right tools to do your job WELL! We want you to have those tools. But please, PLEASE be careful! If you aren’t using a flyer that was created by PlanNet Marketing, then you must contact Compliance to get your flyer approved. If you aren’t ordering your Black Business Card from your Virtual Office, then you need to contact Compliance for approval. If you’re considering creating or using a presentation or video that wasn’t created by PlanNet Marketing, you have to contact Compliance to get approval - preferably, email us BEFORE you start creating this presentation.

I promise, we aren’t trying to make life difficult for you. In fact, we’re trying to make it easier! We have business cards for sale in your Virtual Office (VO), presentations and videos in the Information Center in your VO, and if you’re hosting an event with a Director present – we’ll create your flyer! How simple is that?

We know some people like to create their own flyers and business cards, some even like to create their own videos. The problem is, you could unknowingly violate any number of statutes or regulations affecting PlanNet Marketing’s business. These violations, although they may be relatively few in number, could jeopardize the PlanNet Marketing opportunity for all of our Reps. Therefore, IRs must submit all written sales aids, promotional materials, advertisements, websites and other literature to Compliance for approval prior to use.

Let’s work together to safeguard and promote the good reputation of PlanNet Marketing and its services. All requests for approval of materials or websites should be sent via email to Compliance@plannetmarketing.com.
